Garden visit..
This week in Science we had a think about how as living things we have five major senses to help us find out about the world around us. Our senses of sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell help us to observe, interpret and understand our environment. They can alert us to dangers too.
Where better to start our investigations other than in the school garden which is full of interesting sights and scents!
Rosemary, oregano, spring onion, Vietnamese mint, bay leaves, thyme ...plenty to sniff at and rub between our fingers! Thank you Mrs Hicks for showing us around.
