Whole School Sports event

To celebrate our first weeks as a 'Learning Community' for 2014 all students at Kerrimuir joined together to take part in a tabloid sports morning.  Each of twelve teams experienced six activities in some very warm weather.  Congratulations to all students and thank you to all those who carefully guided the Preps. 

Hello, and welcome to Prep A's blog. We have enjoyed a happy start to our year together during a week of 'getting to know you' games and activities.  Our regular teaching programme has commenced with daily literacy, phonics, counting and numeracy sessions.  We also take part in activities to develop gross and fine motor skills.  All the specialist classes have been visited and we have twice been to the library.  We are in the process of meeting with the Grade 5s in order to sort out Buddies for 2014.  It's all 'go, go, go!'  Have a look at our first gallery of pictures...

 











  




        

                                     

         

End of Year Celebration Lunch...

On Tuesday we enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch to celebrate the end of a busy year in the Junior School.  Thank you to all the mums who fetched, cooked, served and cleaned up on the day.  
We can hardly believe it's the final week of our time together.  It's been a great journey!

On Monday we enjoyed a tasty lunch to celebrate our year together as Buddies.  The rain held off just long enough for us to mingle in our lovely gardens and eat some tasty sausages and juicy watermelon.  Many thanks to the parents who made this possible - we really appreciate your help.
