Betty's visit
Today we were lucky enough to have Betty, Kerrimuir's Crossing Supervisor, come and visit. She answered questions about herself, her job and Road Safety in general. She made sure to tell the Preps about correct behaviour on and around the crossing. Important things to remember are: wait behind the yellow line until Betty blows the whistle twice, walk across the crossing and stay within the lines. Stop, look, listen and think before crossing, she said. When she blows the whistle only once that means 'Stop - there's danger around'. Betty has been a lollipop lady for over 32 years so she knows what she's talking about!
