In Mathematics we enjoy regular 'hands on' activities. Lately we've estimated, measured and recorded the length of classroom objects.

After sorting dominoes by colour, this group then found
other ways such as putting all the doubles together.

Joshua and Gibson grouped the transport tiles by air, sea and land vehicles.

This group sorted the teddies by size.

These girls sorted the fruits by 3D shape, and the group with the 'bugs' made groups 'with' pincers and without.
Another activity we really enjoyed was building models with connecting blocks, then drawing them from various viewpoints. This required a lot of concentration and everyone did a sensational job. Have a look!
